I got a deal on two Swedish Military Stoves (One is of German manufacture). Basically it was two stoves for $6 plus shipping. As i am a very frugal backpacker i couldn't pass up such a deal. I tested it today and here are my results:
1 oz HEET boils two cups of water in: 7 mins 34 secs
1 oz HEET burns for: 20 mins 23 secs
It's a little heavy coming in at right under 2 pounds but for $3 each you can't beat that. I may try to lighten it up a bit by using a bent wire stand and some foil for a windscreen. However, I love this stove. It'll probably be coming with me on the AT.
